A relatively smooth maintenance update cycle on June 4th. All client websites updated with very little issues found and the few small issues were resolved quickly without any downtime or causing issues for website users. Woocommerce had a security release so we prioritized this update during the process and we highly recommend updating all Woocommerce websites as this is a high risk security threat.
We’re reaching out to highlight an annual event that is close to our hearts and a part of every website we roll out here at Total WP Support which is Global Accessibility Awareness Day. On the third Thursday of May in each year it is a day to acknowledge the importance of digital accessibility and inclusion for the over one billion people worldwide who live with disabilities and to assess our own websites to gauge their level of accessibility as well as compliance with our own regional accessibility related laws.
Another successful WordPress Maintenance update process for the month of May 2024. A lot of security related updates over April and the first week of May had us working closely with the sites a lot over the last month and we are expecting this to continue into May. Overall, a great success and looking forward to continuing to care for all the great websites that entrust us with their security, support and ongoing maintenance.
Going into the busy summer season here in British Columbia 50 North Adventures wanted to streamline and simplify their booking process for both their clients and for themselves on the admin side as well. Online bookings for their main tours was a must so we settled on the Premium WordPress plugin called Bookly to be the main backbone of the new system. We are happy to see 50 North Adventures taking its first step into automating their tour booking process and look forward to fine tuning and increasing the automation further.

Software has been updated, back ups have been run, optimization and database cleaned, spam cleaned out and much more!
